Madrigal is now accepting applications for 2025 Medical Education programs.
All requests for Educational Grants must be independently initiated, in writing, by the entity that would be conducting the educational program.
Each request for an Educational Grant shall include:
- A description of the proposed educational program including the subject matter, timing, location, proposed audience, and expected number of attendees;
- Details regarding how the Educational Grant funds, if approved, would be spent;
- An explanation of how the proposed educational activities are consistent with Madrigal’s mission or with diagnostic, treatment, or disease areas of interest to Madrigal; and
- The name, address, and federal tax identification number of the grant requestor.
Review of Educational Grants shall include consideration of the following:
- The purpose to be served by the grant, including the manner in which the grant will be used and the underlying patient care benefit;
- The quality of the educational program and the qualifications of the recipient to carry out the program;
- Whether the educational program serves a clearly defined, legitimate health, education, and/or scientific purpose and is consistent with Madrigal’s mission and disease areas of interest to Madrigal;
- Whether the proposed program reaches a broad audience that extends beyond a single institution or practice group;
- Whether the amount of the grant request is reasonable and justified; and
- The mix of other educational programs currently receiving funding from Madrigal.
